Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis: (Telecom preferred)
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze data to identify opportunities for product growth and improvement.
  2. Product Positioning and Messaging:
    • Develop and communicate product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market.
    • Craft compelling value propositions for target customer segments.
  3. Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, product management, marketing, etc.) to ensure successful product launches.
  4. Sales Enablement:
    • Create sales tools and training materials to support the sales team.
    • Conduct training sessions to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about the product and its benefits.
  5. Marketing Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and demand.
    • Utilize various channels such as digital marketing, social media, content marketing, events, and partnerships.
  6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and product sales.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  7. Customer Insights and Feedback:
    • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Work closely with the product management team to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engg with marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Experience:
    • Several years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
  3. Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of the telecom, Applications industry and product category.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.

Additional Considerations:

  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Specific industry knowledge can be highly beneficial, especially in sectors like technology, communication, TM Forum or GSMA Camara etc
  • Customer-Centric Approach:
    • Ability to understand and address customer needs and pain points effectively.
